You May Need Leadership More Than You Think
A ministry is only as effective as its leader. I have talked with many youth workers who tell me leadership is not for them. They love students and want to disciple them. They don’t care about leadership. The problem is loving students and helping them grow in Christ is going to require leadership. People don’t just change because you want them to. They change because they see something in you that is attractive. They follow you because they see you have vision and influence.
Do you feel pressure from your church leaders to improve the effectiveness of your ministry? Are your adult volunteers wondering what’s the plan? Have you noticed that the ministry has grown stagnate? The problem may be your leadership. Grow your leadership skills and see your ministry grow with you.
Loving God and loving students is a result; the way you get there is through leadership.
