Who’s Loudest?

By Doug Franklin June 25, 2009

Do the loudest students make the best leaders? No; sometimes there good at motivating the team sometimes not.

Do the biggest ministry conferences make the most difference? I was checking out online some of the new ministry conferences that are out there, they all seem the same with the same speakers. Do great websites and popular speakers really make a difference? I am so hungry for something real; real people and real encouragement.

I ask myself is there anything truly remarkable out there or is it all based on the largest numbers for the lowest cost. I see this in the youth missions’ world. Many organizations market themselves by the number of students who have gone on their trips or the price of their trips. Why doesn’t anyone market based on transformation? I know, I can already hear the answer “define transformation”?

It’s kind of frustrating.
