Collaboration

When we think about collaboration we often think about leaders collaborating with other leaders, but leaders must also get followers to collaborate with each other. I have noticed over the years that adult volunteers are really willing to help the youth pastor, but how about each other? How quick are they to encourage another staff member or reach out to someone who is exhausted? As leaders in our ministry, we have an opportunity to connect volunteers together to help them collaborate with each other. This often takes just bringing it to the attention of our team. Collaboration between team members could give our ministry a lift, bring some new energy, and make doing ministry more fun.
