Call People Back

I have noticed over the years that a good number of youth workers don’t call people back when they leave them a message. Like somehow calling back is beneath them. I can understand not calling back sales people but when a parent calls and wants to talk about their student’s spiritual growth, that’s another story. Call people back. It’s says you are partners with them, it says you respect them and it says you’re a professional. It’s hard enough as youth workers to be respected; we don’t need to hurt our own cause.
