Growing As A Leader

The other day a youth worker asked me if he could grow as a leader even though he had never been a leader and was now pretty old. I get this question a lot. The answer is YES you can grow as a leader, even if you think you’re too old to grow in your leadership. The truth is, leadership principles are the same for you as they are for a student. Start applying them to your life and soon you will be leading. Many of us want to be more effective and have great influence. Leadership can make both of those things happen. So don’t think for a minute that leadership has passed you by – start learning leadership and soon you will be more effective and have more influence.
