Motivation to Lead

I have been thinking a lot about why I do things. Is it because I have a clear vision of the future or is it because I am reacting to something that I don’t like now? I am coming to the conclusion that it’s not good to lead based on what I don’t like now. Too many good things get thrown out because of a few bad things. I want to lead based on a clear vision that comes from God. God sees the future and knows how good and perfect it can be through Him. I am praying for vision in my life that is new and based on what God has for me, and I am going to resist the temptation of leading out of dislike, fear or frustration.
